Publication Opportunities

Seize Publication Opportunities

A range of options to share your work and increase its visibility — through the conference proceedings and indexed journals.

The International Conference on Gender and Society (GSCONFERENCE) offers a range of publication opportunities for researchers eager to share their work. Below you will find the different options for paper publication and how to increase the visibility of your research through the conference proceedings and indexed journals.

ISBN

Conference Abstract Book

All accepted and registered abstracts will be published in the official Conference Abstract Book, which carries an ISBN. The Abstract Book will be available during the conference.

ISSN · DOI · Open Access

Paper Publication via Conference Proceedings

All accepted full papers will be published in the official conference proceedings (unless the author(s) request otherwise). The proceedings carry an ISSN, and each paper receives a unique DOI for permanent accessibility and easy citation. Open access increases the reach of your research worldwide.

Peer Review and Editorial Process

Every full paper submitted goes through a double-blind peer review. Reviewers evaluate the work on its originality, methods, relevance to the conference themes, and clarity of writing.

Authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts to meet the editorial board's standards. The final decision on acceptance is made by the Scientific Committee, ensuring the process is fair and transparent.

Publication Opportunity in Indexed Journals

The Organizing Committee works with several internationally recognized journals, including those indexed in SCOPUS, Web of Science, DOAJ, and other databases. Upon request, authors receive advice on how to submit their work to these journals for possible paper publication.

Please note: acceptance for journal publication is entirely up to the journal editors, based on the double-blind peer review and any required revisions.

Indexing and Visibility

The conference aims to increase the visibility and reach of every published paper. All conference proceedings are registered with Crossref, which assigns a DOI to each paper. We also apply for inclusion in recognized indexing services such as Google Scholar and DOAJ.

Indexing decisions are made by the services themselves, so acceptance cannot be guaranteed. By using open access and standard identifiers, we help improve the discoverability and citation potential of your work.

Plagiarism Policy and Publication Ethics

We follow a strict anti-plagiarism policy. Every online submission is checked using Crossref Similarity Check (powered by iThenticate) before it goes into review.

If a submitted full paper is found to contain plagiarism, it will be rejected immediately. This process helps ensure that all published work meets ethical standards.
